Dennis Martin is the founder and President of Demartek, a computer industry analyst organization with its own ISO 17025 accredited test lab. Demartek focuses on lab validation testing and performance testing of storage and related hardware and software products and is recognized by the EPA as an official test lab for ENERGY STAR Data Center Storage. Dennis has been working in the Information Technology industry since 1980, primarily involved in software development and project management in mainframe, UNIX, and Windows environments. These include a variety of large and small end-user customers, and engineering and marketing positions for storage vendors such as StorageTek.
Dennis has made numerous presentations at conferences and has authored many industry articles.

Jeff Giedt is the Demartek Vice President and focuses his efforts on lab validation testing and overseeing much of the lab operations. Jeff joined Demartek in 2011. Jeff has worked in the IT industry since 1994 in systems administration and systems integration. He has managed environments ranging from development labs and end users up to large, mission critical service deployments in enterprise class production datacenters. Jeff has experience with companies ranging from small software development labs to Sun Microsystems and Oracle.
Suzanne Stone joined Demartek in early 2013 as a Systems Analyst. She obtained Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara where she took courses in Networking, Databases, and Computer Security. Suzanne helps with hardware and software testing. She has experience in network and desktop support as has spent ten years supporting physical security systems for elevators, cameras, and card access systems.
Michael Turnbull joined Demartek as Creative Supervisor in the spring of 2012. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design with a minor in Global Perspectives from Drury University in Springfield, MO. While Michael’s main roles include contributing to the production of the monthly newsletter, maintaining and updating the website, filming and editing of Demartek videos, and project management, he is also responsible for the creative identity of Demartek.
Jennifer Brunnings joined Demartek as Project Manager in 2013. In her role as project manager, Jennifer helps define project objectives, creates schedules, coordinates resources, and oversees projects until their successful completion. When Demartek added EPA ENERGY STAR® testing for Data Center Storage to its testing capabilities, Jennifer took on the role of Quality Manager to achieve and maintain Demartek's ISO 17025:2005 Accreditation.
Deanne Martin is the Director of Human Resources and Finances at Demartek. She holds both a certificate in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Deanne is in charge of finances, receivables, and human resources. Deanne has been involved with Demartek from its inception.
