Dennis Martin is the founder and President of Demartek, a computer industry analyst organization with its own on-site test lab. Demartek focuses on lab validation testing and performance testing of storage and related hardware and software products. Dennis has been working in the Information Technology industry since 1980, primarily involved in software development and project management in mainframe, UNIX, and Windows environments. These include a variety of large and small end-user customers, and engineering and marketing positions for storage vendors such as StorageTek.

Dennis is the founder of the Rocky Mountain Windows Technology User Group (RMWTUG) in Denver, and served as its President for its first six years (1994-2000). Dennis was re-elected President of the group in May 2008. Dennis has made numerous presentations at conferences and has authored many industry articles. His current speaking schedule is available.

Dennis is a Microsoft Storage MVP for calendar years 2005-2011.

Jeff Giedt joined Demartek as a Systems Analyst in 2011. Jeff has worked in the IT industry since 1994 in systems administration and systems integration. He has managed environments ranging from development labs and end users up to large, mission critical service deployments in enterprise class production datacenters. Jeff has experience with companies ranging from small software development labs to Sun Microsystems and Oracle.

Jeremy McCoy is a Systems Analyst who joined Demartek in 2011. Jeremy has worked in system administration and video production as a freelancer for several years. He has experience serving in development labs, end users, and many small-to-medium businesses. As a PC, Linux, and Apple Certified Macintosh Technician, Jeremy brings a unique and highly adaptable skill set to Demartek.

Deanne Martin is the Operations Manager at Demartek. She holds both a certificate in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Deanne is in charge of finance, receivables, purchasing, and human resources. She also oversees the Demartek website, compiles and analyzes data in spreadsheets, creates graphs, and proofreads documents. Deanne has been involved with Demartek from its inception and officially joined the staff full-time in 2011.
